Room Hire at Oasis
We're pleased to be able to offer several different community spaces for hire in our beautiful grade two listed church building in the heart of the city.
Basement Community Space
Our basement community space is perfect for a small group gathering. This recently refurbished space is comfortable and cozy and also comes with private toilets and exclusive use of a kitchen. Facilities include a conference/dining style table with chairs, a large lounge style area with three sofas and two one to one style spaces. Screens can be used to create zones, and the room is equipped with a ventilation system, TV monitor and sound system. Please note there is no disabled access into this room. Ground Floor Community Hall
Our ground floor community hall is a bright, modern and versatile space that can be used for a range of groups, events and activities. Visible as soon as you enter the building, the hall can be used as one large space or be split into two spaces using our room divider screen. Facilities include a ventilation system, medium sized kitchen, disabled toilet, four easily movable sofas, stackable chairs and several different types and sizes of tables. A flip chart, projector and screen can also be provided on request. Please note that disabled access is not available for this room, due to steps leading up to the main entrance of the building. Church Community Hall
This large hall can seat up to 80 people and is perfect for performances, concerts and other events. Benefitting from a modern AV system including a hearing loop, projection, amplification and live-streaming equipment, an AV technician can be provided on request for an additional charge. This space is available to hire in the evenings and on Saturdays, and also comes with a disabled toilet, kitchenette and attached creche room with a speaker playing audio through from the main hall. Meeting Rooms
In addition to our larger community spaces, we have several smaller rooms suitable for one to one conversations or meetings. These spaces are available to hire during the day and in the evening. Please note that only one of our meeting rooms currently has disabled access.
