Micro Hubs

Micro Hubs are smaller groups that meet during the week to help us meet other people, reflect on and grow in our faith and spirituality, make a difference in our community and learn new things. We have a diverse range of groups, from podcast discussions and yoga to daytime coffee and cake, there’s a group to suit everyone. Micro Hubs

Oasis Kids (under 11 years old)

Oasis Kids sessions are for children age 4-11 years and run on ‘Learning Sundays’ (usually the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month). In these sessions the children will explore a story or theme which typically involves some adult-led discussion and a chance for everyone to have a say, wonder about things and ask questions. We also have a chance to share any news with each other and have a snack. During the rest of the session the children can choose from a range of options such as arts and crafts, board games, Lego and table tennis. Our sessions are fun, child-centred and nurturing and give the children plenty of time to build friendships with each other.
Oasis Playspace runs once a month on a ‘Sofa Sunday’ and is for children aged from about 1 to 11 years old. This is a free play session with plenty of toys, creative options and chances for the children to spend time together. There is still the all-important snack time during the session and the leader for the day may decide to offer other activities such as a story time. Both sessions run from 10.15am to 11.45am and parents are always welcome to stay with their children. For more information email kids@oasisbath.org

Oasis Youth (11-16 years old)

Oasis Youth usually meet together twice a month during church on a Sunday. During our sessions we chat about topics and issues that impact us and the world around us. The group is about equipping young people to be able to live out what they believe as people of faith, combining activism and social justice with a progressive understanding of the bible. We also run a fortnightly Youth Micro Hub on a Thursday evening for those in year 9+. Oasis Youth is a safe place to be who you are, and ask the big questions.
